Crews tackle bin fire

Firefighters were called to tackle a bin fire in Glen Mona yesterday.

Crews from Laxey and Ramsey were sent to the fire near the Corrany Estate.

A hose reel was was used to tackle the fire which had spread to an adjacent wood store and threatened the garage .

They remained in attendance for about 40 minutes damping down and checking the fire had not spread to the garage or house.
