Snuff The Wind Protest Meeting Postponed

A public meeting to raise objections to the closure of land at 'Snuff The Wind’  has been postponed.

Organsiers say they have chosen to delay the meeting due to the coronavirus precautions, but have warned DEFA that this issue isn’t going away.

There was anger when DEFA closed the area earlier this month, claiming that motorcycles were causing pollution of the rivers and toxic silt to end up in Peel Marina.

Organisers will announce a new date for the meeting in due course.
