Coronavirus: Clarity and support needed for Manx teachers

Teachers on the Island are calling for clarity and greater support over the Coronavirus pandemic.

The NASUWT says that schools and colleges have not been provided with hand sanitiser and that schools and colleges are not being provided with posters to remind staff and pupils about the hygiene steps they should be taking to reduce their risk of contracting the virus.

Union leaders are due to meet with the Education Minister later to discuss the measures to protect staff and pupils in the wake of the outbreak.
