A man has been arrested after ignoring a new law which means all arrivals to the Island must self-isolate for 14 days.
Officers from the Central Neighbourhood Police Team say the man was arrested yesterday for not complying with the new legislation.
The man remains in police custody.
Police have confirmed the man is being detained in a specially cleaned area of custody designated for those who should be self-isolating.
Yesterday, the Chief Minister said "We will come after those who break the rules".
