Quayle tells Tynwald coronavirus is Island's greatest challenge

The Chief Minister says the Manx public have twenty four hours to change their behaviour or further measures will be but in place.
Speaking in Tynwald this morning, Howard Quayle says the coronavirus pandemic is the greatest challenge for the Island in living memory, and citizens need to grasp reality of the moment.
He says all non-essential shops may be closed if businesses don’t enforce social distancing, with some still not ensuring customers remain two meters a part.
Six Tynwald members are absent for the sitting; Mrs Maska, Ms Sharpe, Mrs Barber, Ms Edge, Ms Costain and Mr Thomas.
Speaking at the start of the sitting, President Steve Rodan says it’s vital Tynwald and the branches continue to function and give government parliamentary support.
Seating arrangements have been reconfigured to ensure wellbeing of members and staff.
