Construction work must cease

The Chief Minister has confirmed all non-essential construction must cease except emergency work and work on critical national infrastructure or in the national interest.

If work is essential construction workers can continue to work on site.

However they must be able to undertake their tasks both, in compliance with relevant health and safety requirements, and in compliance with Public Health guidance including maintaining a two metre distance from others.

Chief Minister Howard Quayle confirmed the Treasury Minister will present support available for specific workers.
