A Farmer’s Veg Stall has been the target of thieves.
2 bags of potatoes have been taken from the stall, which operates on the Braaid to St Mark’s Road.
Two females pulled up in a car around lunchtime yesterday. The passenger took the potatoes and the pair then drove off.
The owners say they are disappointed as they run an honesty box system and it usually runs very well although it isn’t the first time they’ve suffered theft.
CCTV has now been enhanced, however the females who had taken the potatoes were unidentifiable.
