Accident Investigation Work is being carried out on Marine Drive this lunchtime.
Police closed the road at its junction with the road to Port Soderick at 10:30am.
A car left the roadside and landed 50m onto the beach below last night.
One person was airlifted to hospital.
Emergency services are carrying out investigation and recovery work.
