Person jailed for breaking COVID-19 regulations

Two people have appeared in court via videolink from Police Headquarters after spending a night in the cells.

Officers arrested a person who had repeatedly breached COVID-19 guidelines. The person was found breaking distancing rules at another persons house - they were jailed for five weeks.

A person arrested for drink-driving was also jailed for one month and given a driving ban.
