Staff at Abbotswood Care Home have been told there could be job losses.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle made the comment during yesterday's media briefing.
Health Minister David Ashford said staff at the residential home in Ballasalla will be offered positions within the Department of Health of Social Care but warned the number job roles are limited.
Meanwhile, a team of forensic investigators and risk consultants from Island company Expol have been appointed to carry out an independent investigation following an outbreak of COVID-19 at Abbotswood.
