Kerbside recycling resumes in Douglas

Kerbside recycling collections will resume in Douglas from today.

Douglas Borough Council says the service will only be able to collect glass bottles and cans only.

The reason for this temporary change is to eliminate the risk of handling material which could be contaminated with COVID-19. 

Plastic and paper can be disposed of at the Manx Government's Bring Banks.

Kerbside collections in Braddan will also resume on Thursday.
