Varley completes 19 marathon challenge

A Manxman has raised over £80,000 by completing 19 marathons in 19 days.

Christian Varley crossed the finished line of his final marathon at Tynwald Hill yesterday where he was greeted by the his family and Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney.

The distance runner has been raising money for the Manx Solidarity Fund which is helping people and businesses who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
