McDonanlds to re-open drive-thru today

McDonald's will re-open its Drive-Thru on the Island today.

The fast-food giant closed all of its outlets more than 10 weeks ago as lockdown restrictions came into force.

For the moment, McDonald said it was offering a limited menu only and was capping spending at £25.

Traffic management will be introduced at the site in Douglas with cones laid along parts of Peel Road.

The Island's police force says vehicle will only be able to enter the drive-thru from the Douglas direction.

McDonalds will re-open at 11am. The indoor seated area remains closed.
