Classroom layouts and staffing issues are behind the delay in the return to normal for schools.
They’ve remained closed on the Isle of Man for the majority of pupils since March 23 and plans are in place to get kids back in the classrooms before the end of the month.
Questions have been raised as to why there still needs to be a phased return for students when social distancing rules are being abolished and the Island is without a new case of coronavirus in 23 days.
