Roadworks will begin on Glen Road in Laxey from next Monday.
The Department of Infrastructure will excavate the road surface at two points on Glen Road in order to renew electrical joints following the flooding last October.
The first location is adjacent to the river wall and the second at a point opposite Glen Road Terrace.
The closure will be from 9.30am until 4pm daily.
Access to residents will be available from either the Laxey Bridge or Woollen Mills end of the road throughout the working day. It is intended that the road will be fully open outside of working hours.
The work is expected to be completed within seven days,
