Brass band concert to pay tribute to frontline workers

A brass band concert will be held on the Island this weekend to thank frontline workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Over 120 musicians from six brass bands will join forces for the event at the Villa Marina on Sunday.

Money raised will be donated to the Friends of Noble's Hospital.

The bands taking part are Castletown Metropolitan Silver, Douglas Town, Manx Concert Brass, Manx Youth, Onchan Silver, Rushen Silver and Ramsey Town.

A link to the live stream will be available on Rushen Silver Band's Facebook page - facebook.com/rushensilverband - and streaming will be free, although there will be a JustGiving.com link available if anyone would like to make a donation to the charity.
