FC Isle of Man boss Chris Bass, Sr has named a 23-man squad ahead of the newly-formed club’s first-ever fixture this weekend.
There’s a combination of youth and experience involved, with serial Canada Life Premier League winners Frank Jones, Chris Bass, Jr and Sam Caine – all of whom played under Bass, Sr at St Georges – selected alongside younger talent such as Jack Camarda, Joe Quayle and Jacob Crook.
The side welcome Guernsey to The Bowl on Saturday evening for what will be an historic occasion in Manx football.
It was announced last month that The Ravens’ application to join the FA National League System had been approved.
Guernsey – who ply their trade in the Isthmian League South East Division – will take to the field to become FC Isle of Man’s maiden opponents in a friendly at 6.30pm.
The match is also being streamed live online.
