Police warn about scam letter

People are being warned about scam letter circulating across the Island.

The bogus letter claims it wants to help the victim manage a Japanese investment portfolio. The scammer requests a copy of a draft application and a private telephone number to get in touch on.

Police have received several calls about the scam letters.

Officers are warning people to never give personal details to anybody.
