Woman jailed for breaking quarantine rules

A woman has been jailed for failing to quarantine on the Island.

Fraser Nolan admitted taking a bus to visit a locksmith in Douglas on Tuesday after arriving from Belfast.

The 60-year-old was given permission to visit the Island to take care of her late mother's estate.

Douglas Courthouse heard after arriving on the island by ferry on Sunday, Nolan agreed to isolate at a vacant family home in Castletown.

She was jailed for four weeks.
