Old Paramount city sells for half a million

A once-popular Douglas nightclub has sold for over half a million pounds.

The sale of Paramount City, once known as the Crescent, has been confirmed  at a price £550,000.

Cowley Groves which billed the property on Queens Promenade as a “unique opportunity” when it first came on the market in January last year.

The buyer and their plans for the three storey building are unknown, however the estate agents said it will need a ‘total refurbishment’.
