A Peel commissioner says the closure of another bank in the town spells bad news for business.
Ian Davison, who is a local business owner himself, has called the decision by Isle of Man Bank to shut branches in Peel and Castletown “a real shock”.
The two buildings will officially cease trading from January 7 next year as the bank switches its focus to digital and online transactions.
Mr Davison told Local Democracy Reporter Chris Cave the closures will affect the whole community:
