Flood defence plans go on show

Residents in Laxey will be able to find out more about the future flood alleviation work planned for the area this week.

Manx Utilities will hold the drop-in sessions at Laxey Working Men’s Institute between 10am and 8pm today and tomorrow (Tuesday).

The sessions will exhibit the future flood alleviation work planned for Laxey over the next two to three years and support the delivery of recommendations of the ARUP report commissioned by the Chief Minister following the flooding in October last year.
