Nasal flu vaccine offered to school children

Children on the Island will be offered a flu vaccination as part of a new health programme.

The nasal spray will be administered to children in primary schools, and at GP surgeries for 2-4 year olds.

The vaccination has previously been given to children with under-lying health conditions but will be rolled out to all children.

Forms were sent to parents over the summer about the programme.
