Curragh Road closes for works

A section of road through St Johns will be closed from today for several weeks.

The Curragh Road will be closed from the Civic Amenity site to Ballacraine for the installation of new traffic lights.

Traffic to and from Foxdale/South will be diverted via Station Road.

The work will involve replacing light units, columns, controls and surface sensors.

The Western Civic Amenity Site will remain open as normal with access from The Hope end of the street.

Work is expected to be completed before 4th November.
