Respect the conditions says RPU

The Island's Roads Policing Unit are calling on motorists to respect the conditions.

Officers from the unit have seen an recent increase in the number of collisions on the Island's roads.

They say with conditions varying greatly at this time of year, whether it is lack of daylight, a swift change in weather conditions or people eager to get home before dark we must all play our part and respect the conditions.

"Drive accordingly to all kinds of road conditions, use your lights if light is fading and watch your speed."
