Firefighters tackle two collisions and a fridge fire

It was a busy period for fire crews on the Island over the weekend.

On Saturday at 11pm crews from Ramsey and Douglas were mobilised to a single vehicle RTC at Gooseneck, thankfully no fire service action was required.

Ramsey crews were then mobilised at 00:50 on Sunday to another single RTC on the Mountain Road near Brandywell, crews remained in attendance for a short period and made the vehicle safe for recovery.

Crews from Douglas were then mobilised at 1:30am to a commercial property on Circular Road, where they discovered a small fridge on fire, this was quickly extinguished and the property vented for any smoke.
