The dispute between Teachers and the Department of Education is having a further impact on the Island’s schools.
Members of the largest Teaching Union have withdrawn from attending parents’ evenings.
It has forced the cancellation of next weeks Year 9 meeting at St Ninians.
The Head Teacher of the High School, Chris Coole has written to parents informing them that the meeting scheduled for the 12th November is cancelled and will be rearranged at a later date.
Mr Coole said that he had hoped the dispute would have been resolved by now.
Any parents wishing to discuss their child’s schooling, has been invited to contact their child’s Tutor or subject Teacher.
