Residents invited to festival AGM

Residents are being invited to attend the 2020 Manx Competitive Music, Speech and Dance Festival annual general meeting (AGM) this month.

Taking place on Friday 20th November at the Worship Centre, Trinity Methodist Church in Douglas, it will be hosted by the Guild officials who will provide a summary of the past 12 months and look ahead to the 2021 Festival.

Chairman of the Guild, Anne Clarke, said: ‘Our AGM is a great opportunity to have face-to-face contact with all those involved with the Guild. It has been an unusual year so it will be an ideal way to reflect on this and look ahead to exciting future plans. Everyone is welcome and we hope to see lots of faces old and new who are interested in this wonderful community event.’

The Manx Competitive Music, Speech and Dance Festival AGM will commence at 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. For further information, contact manxguild@gmail.com.
