Bomb experts remove suspect ordnance

Bomb Disposal Experts have examined what was thought to be a dormant unexploded ordnanace in South Braddan.

Emergency services were called to the Middle Farm Industrial Estate on Saturday afternoon.

Police have confirmed the item in question has been found not to be as first thought but has been destroyed and removed by the Specialist Unit all the same.

The team will remain on Island overnight before leaving tomorrow morning but will be isolating and complying with the Isle of Man Covid-19 restrictions.
