Appeal after memorial bench damaged

Police are appealing for information after a memorial bench was damaged in the east of the Island.

The incident happened between Monday 26th October and Thursday 29th October.

Damage was caused to a memorial bench within Cronk-Y- Berry School grounds.

Officers say the concrete setting and the tribute plaque on top of the bench has been forcibly removed.  

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Headquarters.
