Enduro champion Knight seeks Dakar Rally support

Multiple-time enduro world champion David Knight is appealing for help from the public to achieve one of his ultimate goals to compete at the Dakar Rally.

Problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic have seen the Manxman miss out on crucial sponsorship needed for him to secure a spot at next year's event.

He's now started a GoFundMe page in a bid to fulfil a dream of appearing at next year's event.

Knight told Energy FM that entering the Dakar would see him fulfil a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity:
