Police warn not to ignore road closures

Drivers in Douglas are being urged not to ignore road closures.

A number of closures are in place on Thursday evenings and Sunday daytimes for Christmas shopping.

Roads affected include Castle Street, Stand Street and Dukes Street.

There have been reports of several drivers either ignoring the closure signage or actually moving the signs.

Police say the town centre CCTV will be utilised to identify any offenders.
