Outdoor activity centre plan for former quarry

There are plans to turn the disused South Barrule Quarry into an activity centre.

The government is looking for someone to create and manage a new recreational facility.

The plantation next door is already home other leisure businesses including Ape Mann, Laser Mayhem and Segway.

The quarry site is a mixture of different terrains and is about equivalent in size to 18 football fields. 

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is looking forward to hearing new ideas for its future use.
