No change to border policy before Christmas

There’ll be no change in the Island’s border policies in time for Christmas.

Health Minister David Ashford made the announcement during the latest Coronavirus briefing.

He said the Council of Ministers has studied a detailed paper weighing up the pros and cons of moving from the current level 4 to level 3A.

It was decided that at present the risks are too great to make a change before Christmas.

Minister Ashford undertsands the news will upsetting for some people.
