Dedicated police patrols are starting to target drivers who have been drinking or taking drugs.
The Isle of Man Constabulary’s annual anti-drink drive campaign begins today.
Officers will be working extended shifts this month to catch offenders using both overt and covert methods.
They’re hoping there will be fewer than the 16 arrests made during last Christmas.
Police say drink and drug driving is unacceptable and the consequences are huge for all involved.
