Attempted burglary in Douglas

Police are investigating after a door was smashed in during an attempted burglary in Douglas at the weekend.

It happened at the iQ Apple Premium Reseller Store in Victory House on Prospect Hill between 3.45 and 4.00am on Sunday.

The intruder ran away after triggering the alarm.

Police say the area would have been busy at the time with people walking home from nightclubs.

They’re appealing for information.
