The Isle of Man's largest teachers' union has rejected the government’s latest pay offer.
The NASUWT wants the Department of Education, Sport and Culture to come back to the negotiating table.
The union says teachers who have kept the island going during the coronavirus pandemic deserve better.
The deal was accepted by the National Association of Head Teachers and the National Union.
Until a resolution is found NASUWT members will continue with industrial action short of a strike.
