Work on the Havhingsten Telecommunications open cable system is ongoing in Isle of Man waters.
The cable lay vessel Ile de Batz is currently off Port Grenaugh following the successful pull-in of the cable to the shore.
The Department of Infrastructure says the operation will now move towards the second landing-point at Port Erin, where the cable will be pulled onto the beach and buried prior to Christmas.
Once complete, the installation will run from Denmark to the UK and Republic of Ireland, via the Isle of Man.
The cable system is required to replace ageing cable infrastructures and ensure that the continuing demand for connectivity is met.
