Charity premises refurbished following lottery grant

A charity which offers support for addiction has been awarded £25,000 by the Manx Lottery Trust.

Motive8 has benefited from the money which has used to give its premises on Woodbourne Road a new lease of life.'.

Last year there were more than 1,500 attendances at the charity’s group interventions at its Douglas Hub and 3,359 one-to-one counselling sessions, indicating that more people than ever are in need of its support and services. 


To accommodate the growing number of clients and create more space for the sessions, the organisation has moved to new premises on Woodbourne Road.
