Ramsey Park Hotel has given away free Christmas lunches to senior residents and their carers in the local area throughout December.
The hotel has already engaged with many of the local care and nursing homes, as well as sheltered accommodation, and the over 70s in the town and neighbouring communities of Andreas and Bride.
General Manager of Ramsey Park Hotel, James O’Neill, said: “2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, with a lot of uncertainty and challenges. It has, however, taught us a lot about resilience and the importance of supporting people and being there for each other. We hope by offering free Christmas lunches to senior residents in the local area we can help to raise spirits and spread some festive goodwill.
“It’s been fantastic so far, with over 500 bookings already, the atmosphere has been brilliant. We look forward to welcoming more residents over the course of the month.”
