Jet ski man leaves the island after prison release

The Scottish man jailed for coming to the Isle of Man on a jet ski has left the island after serving his prison sentence, according to reports.

Dale McLaughlan was snapped by an Isle of Man Newspapers photographer boarding a Steam Packet ferry to Heysham this morning.

The 28 year old year old had served just under half of a four week sentence for breaking Covid-19 entry rules.

He claimed to have been visiting his girlfriend who had called for him to be allowed to stay on the island after his release from prison.
