The Chief Minister believes the UK’s post-Brexit trade deal protects our exports and is good news for Isle of Man shoppers.
It comes after the UK and the EU reached a trade agreement.
Although the Isle of Man was never a member of the European Union, it did enjoy some benefits through the UK’s membership.
Howard Quayle says the new deal means we shouldn’t see price hikes on a wide range of imported goods.
He says it also protects Manx exports of agricultural and manufactured products, provides business opportunities and gives certainty for the future.
A public briefing from the Chief Minister on the trade agreement will be live streamed tomorrow at 4pm.
