People are being encouraged to take part in one of the island’s most popular New Year's Day traditions - an icy dip in the sea.
Events are being held in several places around the Isle of Man including in Peel, Douglas, Port St Mary, Port Erin, Ramsey, Castletown and Laxey.
The organisers of the Douglas and Ramsey dips are encouraging people to sign-up to take the plunge and raise some money for charity.
The Douglas event starts at 12pm and is aid of Breast Cancer Now. A link to the website can be found here
The Ramsey dip starts at 11am and people can register from 10am at the lifeboat station.
Registration forms can be picked up at the town’s library, lifeboat station or the RNLI shop.

Organised dips are also taking place at the following times:
Castletown - 11.00am Outer Harbour (Inner harbour if weather is poor)
Laxey Beach - 12.00pm
Ramsey - 11am opposite the lifeboat station
Douglas - 12.00pm Queen’s Promenade
Peel Beach - 12.00pm
Port St Mary/Port Erin - 10.00am Chapel Beach, 10.45 PSM Inner Harbour, 11.30 Brewery Beach, Gansey and 12.15 Port Erin Beach
