One of the island’s largest office buildings has been sold for £12.8m.
The Douglas Bay complex on Onchan Head is probably best known for being the being the headquarters of online gambling company PokerStars.
Law firm Appleby which advised the buyer on the sale describes it as one of the most significant commercial property transactions on the Isle of Man this year.
It was bought by Guernsey-based investors trading as Douglas Bay Property Limited.
The sale price is lower than the original asking price of nearer £20m.
It’s understood there’ll be no impact on the existing tenants and the hundreds of staff employed there.
