Covid-19: Three new cases and one hospital admission

A person who’d travelled to the island on patient transfer has been admitted to hospital suffering from Coronavirus.

The Department of Health says appropriate safeguards are in place at Noble’s to protect care professionals, patients and visitors.

A close contact of the patient was also found to have Covid-19.

The number of cases on the island has risen by three today bringing the total number to four.

All of the new cases were in people who were already self-isolating and there is still no community transfer of the virus.
