Firefighters attended a tumble dryer fire in Douglas yesterday.
Crews were called to Ballabrooie Drive at just after 8am.
An investigation found the cause of fire was from an overloaded plug socket.
The fire service says people should unplug appliances when not in use and to check the correct fuse is being used.
