Tributes paid to cyclist killed in collision

Tributes are being paid to a man who has died following a serious collision in Douglas.

Emergency services were called to the collision involving a cyclist and car on Curragh Road in St. Johns yesterday.

Police have named Luke McNicholas as the cyclist who lost his life.

The force says the 21-year-old suffered severe injuries at the scene and later died at Nobles Hospital. 

The driver of the vehicle involved and other witnesses in the area at the time have been assisting officers with enquiries.
