Additional sandbags delivered in Laxey

Extra sandbags have been delivered to Laxey.

It follows a yellow weather warning for heavy rain which will remain in force until Wednesday morning.

The Department of Infrastructure says sandbags are available from the Football Club car park on Glen Road and in the Boat Park near the harbour.

Officials say there is plenty to go around so long as you only take what you really need.
