A yellow weather warning for frost has been extended until tomorrow.
Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office say clear skies are expected this evening which could see road temperatures drop below zero leading to hoar frost on untreated highways.
Increased cloud overnight will lift temperatures by the end of the night ahead of a band of rain arriving from the west during Tuesday morning.
Patchy ice may also form in areas that remain wet due to seepage from water.
The warning will remain in force until 6am on Tuesday.
