Person taken to hospital for smoke inhalation

Fire crews were called to a property fire in Willaston last night.

The fire was confined to the kitchen and was out on arrival.

Firefighters found one casualty on the ground floor, rescuing them from the smoke logged property.

The casualty was treated on scene by the Ambulance service and taken to Nobles Hospital for precautionary checks due to smoke inhalation.
